Part 1 teaches typographic hierarchy, font pairing strategies, responsive type scales, and accessibility. Part 2 introduces type design — drawing letterforms, spacing, kerning, and exporting a working font file. You'll analyze 12 real-world typographic systems (Stripe, Apple, The New York Times, Airbnb) to understand how world-class teams make type decisions. Then you'll build your own type system for a fictional product and design a display typeface from scratch.
